1997 Chrysler LHS STRONG SMELL OF GASOLINE WHILE DRIVING

I can smell gasoline while driving and the odor is quite strong after parking the vehicle in the garage, but it does eventually disapate.

You should have it looked at, the emissions are supposed to store fuel vapors, there may be a small leak. Its a fairly high pressure system, and it should not be hard to locate. See if you can see any fuel dripping under the car, the fuel tank and charcoal cannister are the only places raw fuel are stored. A hose may be leaking. Its not safe. The charcoal cannister may be soaked with too much fuel. Happens on some older cars.
Be careful with fuel smells. Ok
