1995 Chrysler Le Baron 6 cyl Automatic? Miles

Car hesitating, skipping, stalling *whatever you'd like to call it* while I'm driving (at any speed) like its not getting the gas. It prefers to do this when I pull out in front of oncoming traffic. I'm flooring it and its like its stuck in neutral then -VROOOOM! It kicks back in and im then violently thrown forward @ 60 mph as the car takes off. I've had it to the shop 4X, and the last time a diagnosis was ran & they found nothing wrong. They said it didnt do that for them when they test drove it. They said put premium fuel in, it might be trash in my gas line -did that. No change.
I've replaced plugs, cleaned distributor cap, replaced the fuel filter & pump - and its still doing it! The next thing I was going to try was replacing the distrib. Cap and then the ignition coil, but I'm already $450 lighter because of this prob and its getting me nowhere -literally. Please help!

Hi there and thank you for the donation

Hesistating, stumbling, jerking could be caused by the following:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
