1994 Chrysler Le Baron replacing altenator

Hi, how do I replace the alt. In this car? Can't seem to find a spring loaded tensioner arm. And of course there is no room to get to anything. Thanks, Jim

Dear Jim, you're right there's no room. If you stand at the front of the engine, where the belts are. Look straight down pass the alt. There is a smaller pulley, that is the tensioner. You need a breaker bar (3/8" I think) to put in a square hole to move it. Please note the voltage is regulated by the "engine controller". Hope this helps. Ken
