Brakes problem
1993 Chrysler Le Baron 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 58000 miles

I bought a wheel cylinder repair kit from auto zone part no. 66535 wich was supposed to be for my vehicle but on dismantleing found the rubber parts were only half the size of mine. Please could you help with a specific part no?

Do you have the sedan or the coupe / convertible? Check to see if the rubber piece is 5 / 8" in diameter.

Your vehicle's wheel cylinder should be.625" (aka 5/8" ). That is what is listed by the manufacturer as well as all of the auto part stores I have looked at. I'm not sure why yours would be larger than that unless someone has changed the brake system on it.

Thank you, I think I will replace the wheel cylinders instead of using the repair kit.
