IT JUST STARTED WHEN YOU DRIVE THE CAR DOES NOT WANT TO SWICH GEARS. DRIVES FINE WHEN YOU ARE GOING 20 MILES PER HOUR BUT WILL NOT CHANGE GEARS. HOW DO I FIX IT OR DO I NEED TO SEE A MECHANIC FOR REPAIRS

Hi John,

Have you check the Tranny Fluid? If not do so, also look at and notice the color, it should be red or some people call it pinkish. Then smell it does it smell burnt? If so you will need a tranny service, tanny filter and fluid change. And that may fix your problem.

If above checks good or appears good the other possibility is a shift selenoid inside the tranny. And would need to take to Transmission Shop.
