1992 Chrysler Le Baron Transmission Shift problem

The car will shift itself into neutral or down to 2nd at highway speeds whenever it is hot outside. It drives great during rain and cool temperatures but the hotter it gets the more it does this. Once it has kicked out of gear you must pull over, place it in park and then back to drive. We replaced the TCM as that is what code was coming up but it did not eliviate the problem. Any ideas?

Were you at the Chrysler garage to check and read out the transmission error codes? The problem sounds of wrong (or lack of) transmission fluid (wrong oil) or a blocked tranny oil filter. If not, check and replace the solenoid first, the TCM usually never breaks
