Hi,
My car just won't start. I was driving it on the freeway in the late evening. It wasn't hot that night. I was driving about 60 miles. I made it about 50 miles and it stopped running. Just like it ran out of gas. You know that sound and feeling? I went and got gas for it and it still wouldn't start. I towed it home. I got the book on it but it could be a number of things. I was just woundering if you can narrow it down to save money. I just don't want to buy everything. I also took off the coil wire to check it for spark and there was none. No spark from the coil. Does anyone know what to check? Please help!

Hi yes check the timeing belt. Remove the little plug in the front timeing cover have someone crank engine is cam turning if yes.
Remove dist cap crank eng is rotor turning?
If yes. Check all fuses. If ok check fusible links.
If ok replace the pickup module this is located under the dist cap remove the rotor unplug module lift right out. These are the typical probs. You can have the pick up module tested at auto store. Good luck billymac
