The engine of my car quit working. After troubleshooting, I find out a problem with the fuel pump. I replaced it. Three week later the pump fault it again. Do you know a reason why the fuel pump is damaged in my car very often? I will appreciated any support.

Thanks

Hi Alex:

If you purchased an aftermarket fuel pump. this isn't unusual. Some of the lower end parts from discount part stores are poorly built and fail. My recommendation is to get your money back on the bad pump, and replace it with a factory pump. It may cost a little more, but I feel confident that it will last much longer.

If you have any specific questions, let me know.
