Engine Cooling problem
2003 Chrysler Intrepid 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

i first noticed problems when there was no heat. Next day I noticed coolant on the ground. And on the freeway I noticed the gaugewas rising steadily to hot. I stopped, let it cool and added coolant. The leak still continues, and the windows fog up. Now, the leak has become worse. I was told it could be the heater core.I have limited funds and can not afford to repair my vehicle at this time. Could this be remedied by a hose replacement or other?

Hi there,

Get a cooling system pressure test done to prove the leak, if it is the heater core, ask your mechanic to join the two heater hoses to loop the heater out of the system, start here.
