1991 Chrysler Imperial ENGINE STALL

Engine stalls after running 2 - 3 miles, I turn off engine while coasting and turn back on then runs ok for 10 to 30 seconds and stalls again (with backfire). Changed fuel pump and filter. I am fustrated.

Hi:
What I suggest, is take it to an nationally recognized auto parts store. Have them scan the computer for trouble codes.

Let me know what they find. Also, most of the parts stores will scan it for free.
