Oil light comes on when you come to a stop and sitting at an idle. I have changed oil at regular intervals and have started using Lucas along with the 5w30 oil. This helped the problem and would only start coming on after 1200 miles, but now it is doing it after about 300 miles after oil change. I have read one thing that says you should purchase a wire terminal/vent pt #05017800AA. It says it connects to the oil pressure switch connector to reduce the heat at the switch by having the heat travel up the wire. Have you heard of this before? Do you have any advice, as I can not afford to purchase another car at this time and I really like my car except for this problem.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
