My 1999 Chrysler Concorde has been shimmying between 30 and 40 mph and over 65 mph. I had a friend look at it and he thinks the tie rods need to be replaced. I called an auto repair shop just to get a general idea of what it might cost and I was told the Concorde is labor intensive, so it will probably cost between $600 and $700. I plan to take it to a couple of places for a quote, but I wanted to get a general idea from you so I don't spend money unnecessarily. Thanks.

I believe there were two different engines put into the 99 Concords. One being a dual overhead cam and the other being a single overhead cam. This can make a bit of difference in price estimation. Or if you could post your vin number I could find just about anything you would like to know about the car.
