When I turn the heater on I get a ugly smell. It is not a anti-freeze smell. It does not lose any anti-freeze nor is there any leaking

Cool. Ok. Well what I would suggest doing is getting some very hot water, putting a good concentration of bleach in it and mix it up good. Put in a spray bottle spray it down the vents and when vehicle is running with air on spray the mixture down the fresh air intake for the vehicle to get the mixture everywhere. Should clean up all your mildew. Common problem on vehicles if the ac condensor drain plugs up
