1998 Chrysler Concorde

I have a 98 chrysler concorde I just bought and every time I come to a complete stop I feel like a tugging motion and as I start to accelerate I feel it again so I took down to get the state inspection and they gave me a big list of problems that ran me around $1100 to fix everything I know they told me something about a trailing arm but I dont know much about cars honestly I just want to know would they have found the cause of that in the process of the inspection? I dont think they wouldnt let a car go on the road with that kinda problem but I dont know. I just hope when I go to pick my car up on monday I feel that nomore. I really hope to get a response soon.
