I'm having problems when I try starting my car and has stalled while running.

When I try turing over the car if all the lights on my dash do not show up the engine will not start.

If all the lights show up including the cruise light the car starts and runs fine.

I've been driving down the freeway and all of a sudden all of the dash lights will show up and the car will die.

The car ran great for 2 days after I fully charged the battery and then after resting for 1 day it won't start again. I've changed the fuel pump relay switch but no luck. My mechanic friend tested the spark plugs when it wouldnt start and they were not getting any spark. He thought it was the fuel pump relay switch or the ignition switch. I'm not sure. Please help. Thank you, Kathy

I would suggest that you have the electrical system checked: battery, starter, and alternator. If the battery passes the load-test and is confirmed good, and the starter cranks fine, and the alternator is running and charging the battery at between 13.5V and 15.9V, then I suspect the electrical connection to the ignition key.
