1995 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

tie rod bolt snapped off in rack and pinion. Trying to figure out how to detach rack and pinion from steering column to drill bolt out or replace rack

Getting at that pinch bolt is the hardest part of the job. Why did the bolt snap off? If it was previously cross-threaded, just replace the assembly, but if it was hit, as in a crash, you can try using wire to hold a nut over the bolt, then filling it in with a wire-feed welder. Then you can turn the nut to remove the bolt end. The threads should not be real tight. That trick might save you the trouble of removing the rack.
