Is There some trick to installing a timing belt on a 94 concord 3.5 liter? Every time I line up my timing marks (all 3 ) and I turn the crank 2 revalutions both of my top marks are off 2 or 3 teeth marks to the left. I have repeated this step 5 or 6 times with the same results.
please help me! Thank you.

When doing a timing belt on a 3.5 L the cams gears have a mark it is to be lined up in the middle of the 2 dots on timing cover. So your cam mark is in the middle of the 2 dots. Crank has a mark on crank gear and timing housing. Line all marks up and release tensioner. Your marks on belt wont line back up as u rotate engine around. The 3.5L wont bend valves if timing is off. So you can atempt to start it at that point. What ever you do do not loosen
cam gears, or they will need to be reset with special tools. They do not have a key way. Good luck
