I want to learn how to change an alternator so I can drive this car that I have boughten for $1,200. But the alternator needs to be changed it started to squeal then it just gave out but do you think that you can help me out with that they say that its easy but I really want to know how easy

Which engine do you have? 3.3L or 3.5L. As they are different, I need to know which one. If you don't know, just read the VIN form left to right. I need the 8th digit. For example, if the VIN is ABC123DEF456, the 8th digit is "E".

You said the alternator started to squeal and then gave out. What do you mean by that? Did you have the alternator tested? Was it low charging voltage, or what?
