I need a tune up. Meaning I need 2 spark plugs, wires, my oil pressure light is on due to my sensor is bad and there is a gasket or something IN the motor that needs to e fixed. Is $430.00 a decent price for all of this work?

Sounds too low. Which gasket? Valve cover gaskets take less than two hours. Head gaskets take more than six hours. Most shops need to charge around $100.00 per hour to pay for all the specialized test equipment, service manuals, and continual training.

You can't expect anyone to provide an accurate estimate if you don't know which gasket is needed, what other parts are needed related to this repair, what the parts cost, and their hourly rate. Most shops will provide an itemized list of charges, and the cheapest shop isn't always the best shop. What I CAN suggest is thanks to the over use of complicated, unnecessary technology, repair bills well over $400.00 are common.
