Hi there hope u can help with this.
Bought the car a year ago at a 168 000 and got punked! It would stall in traffic or at stops signs whith no reason apparent. So I looked on the internet to find an answer and found one the distributor it worked !Whith no other major problems till lately. My wife filled it up of gas 2 days ago and cold weathercame along. She want out for ride made a mile or so and stalled like it was out of gas!Thought it be the gas so I dropped a bottle in the tank of gas line antifreeze ;went a day without problems then same night I gave a ride to my mom and it stalled again. Started it after 10 secs or so, brought it back home and now it won't start! Plz help

So sorry this has occured to you. But the cold weather brings out any weaknesses in all things.
If your driving a fuel system, with a 180,000 miles the pump and filter are shot. The impellers or plastic vanes that drive the hydraulics get cold, and they lower the output pressure. I think you should use a fuel gauge for a pressure test. The filter also may be no good. The new pump(if thats it) has a new screen, and the filter make three items that may all need replacing. The pump is electric, so the cold affects it more then the dirt affects the filter. Have your powertrain control module scanned by a mechanic for codes and test the fuel pressure. A 3.0L was prone to timing belts and fuel delivery trouble. Good luck.
