1996 Chrysler Cirrus 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown ? Miles

MAY CAR STARTS BUT IN ORDER FOR IT TO DRIVE I REALLY HAVE TO PRESS ON THE GAS COMPLETELY. ONCE I GET IT TO RUN I HAVE TO KEEP MY FOOT ON THE GAS AND IF I STOP I HAVE TO PUMP ON THE GAS FOR IT TO DRIVE.

If I remember properly these vehicles have an electronic sensor under the gas pedal. It sounds like this could be the problem. Instead of using a cable to move the throttle it is electronically controlled. Ive seen these sensors go bad and cause the exact symptons you have described. Check this out and email me to let me know how it worked for you at janderson0574@hotmail. Com
