Electrical problem
1995 Chrysler Cirrus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Recently things on my cirrus seem to have stopped working. The radio, air, power mirrors, and power locks. And it seemed to all happen at the same time. I had the air compressor replaced last year so Im confident it is ok. Any ideas? Btw the door power locks automatically lock as usual when you put it in gear.

Hello, when you say air, are you you saying the blower motor doesn't work?

As far as the radio, check fuse 14--10 amp in the fuse box. Not only check the fuse, check that the circuit goes hot when you turn on the key? Use a testlite on the fuse circuit.

What I meant was the air conditioning stopped working. The blower still works just blowing warm air.I checked all the fuses with a vom meter. All tested good. Is there another fuse box in that car besides the one in the engine compartment?

Did you check that the fuse circuit had voltage? Fuse 17-- 40 amp, I believe it is hot all the time. Fuse 9--10 amp, I believe it goes hot when you turn on the key. Both fuses show to be in the power distrubution center under the hood. Did you check the ac clutch relay? Also in the power distribution center. With the engine running and the hvac controls turned on for cool, check to see if the compressor clutch is engaged, you should be able to see it? If it isn't check the blue wire with red tracer, should voltage wire for clutch. Do you think you might be low on refrigerant?

My info shows a fuse box for the interior, driver side end of dash, you may have to leave the driver door open, to see fuse panel.
