1995 Chrysler Cirrus setting a tcm

I need to replace my transmission control module, I want to put in a used one, I seem to remember it could be set while driving the car a certain way, if this is so could you tell me how to go about this?Thank you gene

No adjustment is necessary. I do recommend that you unplug the battery, so power is cut to all computers in the car. Undo the bolt that holds the TCM wire harness (#8mm socket) and remove the 4 screws holding the TCM. Install the new one, and plug in the battery. That should reset all computers to work with the new TCM.

One thing that I would advise, make sure both TCMs have the numbers match. As far as I know, there are 3 TCMs available for the Cloud cars: 95-96, 97-'00, 97-'00 autostick, and they are not interchangeable.
