1995 Chrysler Cirrus help!

Recently wrote to you how my car engine came on on my home from work when I was at a stop light it would not go I was loosing power sometimes it shuts off when I come to a stop I just bought car codes in the car read 1 pause 2 pause 2 pause 1 pause 2 pause 1 pause 5 then 5 earlier in the week it just said 1 pause 2 then 5 then 5 I did do something this morning the idle was so low that you could not tell the car was on I put my foot on the break and throttle together (i said that in the forum) it raised the ilde do I mess the car up more I am clueless about this but I am learning need help

The 12 and 55 indicate the start of the check and the end. To me is sounds like the throttle position sensor or idle control valve is bad, but I can't be sure without a code. Have you checked to see if there are any vacuum leaks?
