P0700 is a generic code for: Transmission Control System Malfunction
There's a few different possible causes for your computer recording this code.
The wires/connectors leading to and from the Trans/PCM could be corroded, broken or loose.
One of the electronic control devices inside of the computer could've failed.
The computer itself may have failed. (Unlikely)
