Air Conditioning problem
2005 Chrysler 300 81300 miles

Hello I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 and the air conditoner runs cool when you first turn it on but it blows out a little bit of water for a few minutes and then after about 1-2 hrs of driving the air conditoner is blowing but the air is no longer cool. Even if you turn the car off or cut the air conditoner down or off it still will not blow cool again unless the car sits for a few hours.

HI
Suspect expansion valve faulty. Does Compressor stay running? Afetr it sets for awile and starts to cool again does water come out vents?Does air flow seem to decrease at time it stops blowing cold? If yes then expansion valve is stuck open and freezing evaporator core.
Let me know
Thanks for donate

I am not very familiar with cars so I dont know for sure if the compressor is still running or not. HOw would I check that and also once it set awhile the water comes out but not right away and the air flow doesnt decrease it still blows very hard but it is just not cool air and alos the air has a funny smell to it when it first cuts on.
