2000 Chrysler 300 engine, smell of gas

Hi I have a couple of question I have a chysler 300m 2000 with 106.640 miles on it every morning when I turn my car on it smell like gas by the gas tank I had it check out but they couldnt find the problem I am very concern because I have a 2yr old daughter who inhaleing it can you tell me wht might it be? Also my check engine light is on I had it scanned it say purge system flow low they checked the purge solenoid and it was ok and they checked the vaccum sorce and condtion of canister and lines was ok what can be the problem
