Y'all responded to my question from yesterday. But it
didn't answer my question. Should the cam pulleys move or have play on the camshafts? My pulleys will
move about 1 to 1.5 teeth without the cams moving.
When I aligned all timing marks and got belt tight the engine started and ran fine until 3800 to 4000 rpm and then started cutting out. I have trouble understanding how an engine can be perfectly timed if the cam pulleys have any significant play.
