I have a 1997 Venture, it's a V6 and it has aprox. 114595 mi on it. As of late it has been making a weird noise around the front right side tire. When I start driving, the van is fine, but then the noise starts. It sounds like you are on the highway and your are crossing over into the breakdown lane, as you cross the grooves in the pavement. It sound like you are just riding on the grooves. The noise starts at around 35mph, if I take my foot off of the gas and then press it again. It stops, but then shortly after it stars up again. I rotated the tires, did a tune up, checked the tie rods and ball bearings. Everything came out fine, I'm at a loss on what to check now. If someone could give me some advice as what to check, or if you have had a similar problem please let me know what you did to fix it. Thanks

Hi, it really sounds like a hub bearing to me, or a tirewith a broken belt, woops you said you rotated them, the hub assemblies can make nosie without having play, you can jack it up and try rotating the right front wheel and listen for noise but usually you wont hear it unless there is weight on it

thanks
jim
