I just recently had a right front tie rod put on my chevy venture van. Ever since then my van has been hard to steer and makes a loud grinding noise when steering it. It also seems to be driving wobbly

Hello,

First you need to make sure something just did not come loose under the vehicle. A loose component can make all sort of different noises and make it difficult to turn.
This does sounds like the noise might be from the CV axle.
If the cv boots leak out grease, it will allow dirt and debris to enter and that will make noise especially when you turn the vehicle.

You will need to do an inspection of the suspension and steering components of the vehicle. If the cv joint is leaking you will likely have grease all over suspension components.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
