My Venture just started making a bumping noise at the rear of the car when I make a turn or drive over an uneven surface. I also noticed that the space above the rear tires seems to be raised higher than normal. I checked to see if the spare tire was causing the noise but that doesn't seem to be the problem. What could it be?

Been there done that. Check your air compressor switch behind to cover on the drivers side in the cargo hold. If the switch is on push it again as this makes the system pump tp the rear air shocks all the time and keeps the full. The switch does not have a light to tell you when it is on.I have four kids and one of them was airing a bike tire up and left it on and I got to checking after I noticed when I hit a bump or rough place the backend acted like it was highjacked all the time [air shocks full] bet you'll find if you push the button again it will settle out and ride better.
