Engine Cooling problem
1997 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have been looking for the 2 wire engine coolant temperature sensor on my van. My engine fans are not comming on. I have replaced the fuses, relays and the sensor that operates the temperature gauge on the dashboard. I have used the chiltons and haynes manuals to try and find the COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR location. It is not in the location depicted in the manuals. Under the throttle Body on the intake manifold. I am about to take the intake manifold apart to see if I can find it. Can you help?

Mr. Rasmataz. I looked there and still not luck. Is there something I need to move out of the way? Remove the power steering pump or alternator? Tilt the engine forward, or lower the subframe? Because I am not seeing it. Could you send me a picture of where I need to look?
