We parked my van a few months ago because I was having an intermittent problem starting it. When we opened up the breather to check to see if it was getting any gas, no sign. When you spray starting fluid in there, it'll fire up. Then we dropped the tank to replace what looked to be the original pump. After wiring this new pump back in and reinstalling the tank, key the switch & still no sign of gas at the engine. We THEN checked the old pump, it was fine. Listened for the click of the relay and heard that. Disconnected the oil sensor and tried to fire it up-still no help.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Elmo4x10@aol. Com

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge designed for your system-if okay try to fire it up with the starting fluid again-once running find the fuel pump relay remove it-did the engine conitnue to run?
