I have an 1990 gmc sieera p up with a 5.7 I thought my catalatyic converter was giving me problems so I took the plug out and draned all the beeds out of it. Then I found out the converter wasn, t cloged at all. The problem was that she was running rich so then I found that there was a vacum line broke going to the map sensor.I fixed that. She seemed to work alot better, then I set her on the correct timeing at 0 degrees btdc with the tan wire with a black strip disconected. And that seemed to work better now I put my hand down by the tail pipe and the exhaust comeing out is extreamly hot is this normal. But for some reason when I put her to the floor she still seems like she got the power she should have. Installed new plugs filters air and fuel, distributer cap and rotor button what eles could it be
