It ran out of gas and now it won't start? This is a college kid who needs to get back to school. Now. Help!

Check the fuel pressure-

Could be that the fuel pump got fried because it is suppose to be submerged in fuel and nothing is cooling it down or the fuel filter is clogged-up with debris-
