1998 Chevy Lumina

I have a 1998 chevy lumina with 125000 miles on it.I was driveing down the road and the abs light come on and acted like the brakes were on but I was pressing the gas and then the volts light come on if you could help me on were to start thanks kevin

I have had the same problem. It sounds like the alternator is shot. You could take it in to a parts store and have them test the alternator for you. You only need to take the actual alternator, not the whole car. Good luck, let us know what you find out.

Hey thanks it was the alternator I have another question the ac stops blowing out the vents and gose to the floor when you step on the gas but it only dose it in drivenot in neutral or park thanks
