Where do I find the temperature sensor on my 1997 chevy s10? I have followed from the rad and looked. Please help!

4 cyl. Or 6cyl.? On a 4cyl. The temp. Sender is on the right side of the manifold behind the thermostat housing, behind or (underneath) the quick disconnect coolant hose connection; on a 6cyl. It's on the left cylinder head
