I have a 1997 chevy s-10 with a 4.3 with the x in the vin number. It has around 125,000 miles on it. It started to surge as I was driving on the highway and then started to sputter butter never died. I changed the fuel filter, plugs and wires. Now I am having more problems. It started to push fuel out of the canister filter after it has run for a short period. I ran the cades and got back that it was rich in bank one and two. And that there is random missfires. It has a new tank and pump. Any idea why it would push fuel out of the canister filter on the frame next to the tank?

Be sure all return lines and vent hoses are free and not pinched or otherwise blocked.
