Check the door switches, if they ground out the light will stay on. The horn I would check the fuses if there are good use a test light and see if you have power to the horn.

There should be a screw by the switch holding the switch in place. Unscrew it, slowely pull pull the switch out. There should be one wire going to it.
The light switch works as you open the door it make the switch ground on to the body when the door is opened do one door at a time seeing if the switch is bad. Note: when you take the screw out there might be a little spark, don't worry its just the swtch being grounded. If it is in one of the switches and you remove the screw it might be enough that the light will go off. Check the wire on each switch. Don't know how many doors you have but check each one seperatly. This will tell you if it is the door switch. Let me know what you find.

Where are the door switches located? I didnt notice any screws around. Are the door switches the little black things that you can press in on near the base of the car? JESSICA

The little black thing on the door that you can push in are the switches. There should be a screw that holds the switch in place.

I have a 1997 Cavalier and the dome light takes up to 60 seconds to shut off. The horn may be just a fuse. Does the cigarette lighter work?

Not sure if the cigarette liter works, cause it has been missing since I bought it, they told me to try sticking a 15 watt fuse in there, and see what happens. Jessica

the dome lite staying on, has something to do with the door switches, cause the door was replaced recently, due to an accident. I close the door and lite still stays on. Jessica

Okay, there are no screws down there holding the door switches in place. The switches are just there, plastic, encased around a plastic black ring. But no screws to speak of. JESSICA
