Could you please tell me the proper setting for the timing on a Chevy Z71 4x4, 5.7 liter K1500? And could you please tell me how to find the TDC mark? I need your help and appreciate your response. Thanks.

Hello,

The timing should be 0 degree top dead center for this engine.
You will find the timing mark on the crank pulley.

In order to set the timing you will need a timing light. It is best to set the timing with the engine at operating temperature.

I have attached the timing adjustment procedure as well as diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
