My truck this winter started to hesitate when the accelerator is pushed down. I had the engin code read and it gave a code of #44 engin lean so we did a tune up and replaced the oxygen sensor. The truck still hesitates when accelerating when cold out the check engin light comes on and is still getting the 44 code. When I slow down the check engin light clears. On warm days the truck runs normal. Do you have any suggestions on what is going on?

Hoe old is your fuel filter? If filter is good, you've already changed the O2 sensor, so I would look for a "gross" vacuum leak and run a fuel pressure test. Hope this helps. Let us know what you find.
