Cruise control will not kick in, however, when engaged you hear a clicking noise.

Cruise Control out or is it a minor adjustment.

what you are probably hearing "clicking noise" are the gears in the cruise control unit trying to work I believe it is no good try your local junkyard I'm sure you can find one for about $20
