I have a 1995 chevy blazer. It runs fine but when I put it in drive, it starts to whine. Which I guess is the transmission. The faster I drive, the louder it gets. The transmission does not slip at all but the whine is driving me nuts. Please help.

Are you sure the whine is coming from the transmission, and not the rear end? My `94 had to have the rear end completely rebuilt, including new axles. It was just worn out at around 110,000 miles. It was done at the same time and at the same shop as the tranny. The whining sound was not really high pitched sounding, but it was loud.
