1994 Chevy Truck clicking sound in heater/air vent

My 1994 Chevy Silverado pick-up with 154,000 miles has a clicking sound in the heating and air vent system. It quits after about 30-45 seconds. If I push the blue REC button, it will stop, but then start again. It sounds like one of the gates is not able to open or close to change the circulation path. I am not sure as to how to fix the problem.

Thanks,

Bob

A friend had a similar problem and said it was a cylinoid that controls the doors to the vent. Only problem there is more than one cylinoid. The cylinoid makes door open & close and if it is bad it makes the clicking sound. Hope this is helpful.
