What a way to start a Monday.

My truck will crank but not start.
The starter was replaced about 6 months ago.
The fuel pump was replaced about 1 year ago.

When I tried to start it, I could smell the exhaust fumes so it was buring something and it did try to start for a few seconds.

I drove it this past Friday with no problems, I did not try to drive it on Sat. Or Sun.

Any ideas?

I am having it towed to a shop tonight, the guy I spoke with said it might be a timing issue? I am not sure if thats the problem or not because up until this morning the truck was starting/driving/everything just fine.

Any ideas out there?

Could be alot of things. First thing you need to do is see if you are getting spark at the Spark Plugs. If so, the next step is to check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Do those if you can and get back to me with the results and I will help you the best of my abilities.
