1991 Corsica Ignition prob.

Here it is. I lost the keys to my chevy corsica so I went to the dealership and got a key made. Got back to my car and the key didn't work. I descided to start it with a screwdriver. Now I want to fix it. Can anyone tell me what part(s) I need to do so :

Go to the auto wreckers see if you can get a new used steering column. It's easier than changing the ignition. But if you do find a column make sure it's one with the right key in it.
