I can no longer lock my truck. (Power locks) I guess because of wear and tear.

Over time, when inserting the key to unlock the door, it has progressed to getting stuck. (Driver side and passenger)

How are these repaired so I know what kind of business to take it to? Locksmith, or truck repair? Do they have to remove the entire interior door?

I'm concerned this will be expensive and want to take it to the correct type of business.

Thanks!

Try this.

Get a can of brake cleaner,
attache the tube to the can and insert it into the lock.

Spray for a bit.
Now insert and remove the key over and over again.

More spray,
and more in and out.
But this time try turn the the lock back and forth.

Hopefully the lock will free up after you wash away the junk inside it.
