1988 Chevy Truck Truck acting as if getting no gas

My 1988 chevy truck runs as though it is not getting any gas. When I press the gas it acts as though it may shut off. I have changed the fuel filter, gave the truck a tune up there is still no change in the way it is running. What would u suggest I try?

Have you check the throttle position switch on the side of the fuel inj.
