I have a 1987 S-10 2.8L 5 speed that I put a 2.8L engine from a 1988 S-10 that had an automatic. I used the 1987 flywheel and clutch. I now have a vibration. I removed the fan belt and put the trans. In gear with the clutch pedal to the floor and I still have the vibration.
What could be causing this vibration?

I found the answer to this mystery.
The 87 has an external balance on the flywheel and the 88 has an internal balance on the crankshaft. Therefore I need to get a flywheel for an 88.
