1986 Chevy Truck

What makes my truck bog down and loose power when I push the accelerator to the floor but when I let it up it runs good again it only does it in gear. Ive put new plugs and wires and distributor cap and new fuel filter in and also new air filter any ideas on problem please respond thanks

I believe your truck has a carburetor is that correct?If it does it also has a secondary fuel filter inside the carburetor where the fuel line attaches, you will need a 1'' inch wrench and a 5/8'' line wrench to replace it, also you may be having choke problems, have you checked the fuel pressure from the mechanical pump?
